Biography and Education

Tran Minh Triet earned his PhD with a dissertation entitled “Research and Development of Information Protection Methods Based on AES” in the field of Computer Science. He graduated with excellent distinction at the doctoral commencement ceremony.

He was the valedictorian of the Ho Chi Minh City high school graduation examination in 1997, and also the top graduate at both the undergraduate and master’s levels at the University of Science.

Professional Career and Research

Tran Minh Triet served as Director of the ICPC Programming Contest Regional Program for Southern Vietnam from 2015 to 2018 and is a member of the Committee for Information Technology, Electronics, and Telecommunications at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM).

He was also a visiting researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign (USA) from 2015 to 2016.

Tran Minh Triet has participated in numerous research projects and published many scientific papers at international conferences, particularly in the fields of computer vision and video analysis.

Contributions

He has made significant contributions to computer science research, especially in information security and video analysis, and has received multiple awards in scientific research competitions.

Tran Minh Triet is regarded as one of Vietnam’s outstanding young scholars, with many notable achievements in his academic and research career.
