Welcome to the University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM)

The University of Science is a center for undergraduate and postgraduate training, providing high-quality human resources and highly qualified experts in fundamental sciences and cutting-edge technologies, with creativity and the ability to work in an international environment.

The University currently has 10 faculties:

• Faculty of Information Technology

• Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science

• Faculty of Physics and Engineering Physics

• Faculty of Chemistry

• Faculty of Biology & Biotechnology

• Faculty of Environment

• Faculty of Materials Science and Technology

• Faculty of Geology

• Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications

• Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences

In addition, the University of Science has 16 training, scientific research, and technology transfer centers that carry out key projects and specialized, advanced research.

The University offers 31 graduate programs (38 specializations) and 13 undergraduate programs (52 specializations).

The University of Science aims to become one of Vietnam’s and Southeast Asia’s leading research universities in training, scientific research, and fundamental technologies that drive the knowledge-based economy of the 21st century.

Currently, the University of Science has 8 Professors, 59 Associate Professors, and 185 PhDs who are responsible for teaching and conducting research for more than 15,000 undergraduate students and over 2,000 graduate students and doctoral candidates.
