Ceremony awarding decision to appoint Professor and Associate Professor positions in 2025

On December 29, the University of Science solemnly held a ceremony to confer decisions appointing 11 faculty members to the academic ranks of Professor and Associate Professor. The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Cao Vinh, Vice President of VNU-HCM; the University’s Board of Rectors; faculty members; family representatives; and a large number of students and postgraduate learners.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Lê Quan, President of the University, congratulated the newly appointed Professors and Associate Professors, emphasizing that this achievement represents not only an honor for each individual but also a source of pride for the University as a whole. He expressed his expectation that the new Professors and Associate Professors will continue to uphold their pioneering role in scientific research, the training of high-quality human resources, and make meaningful contributions to the sustainable development of the University of Science and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.

In a solemn and warm atmosphere, the University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, ceremoniously held the 2025 Ceremony for the Conferment of Decisions on the Appointment of Professors and Associate Professors, recognizing the outstanding contributions of its faculty to education, scientific research, and the University’s development.

The ceremony was attended by leaders of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, the University’s Board of Rectors, representatives of affiliated units, along with numerous faculty members, colleagues, and family members of the honorees appointed in 2025.

On behalf of the new Professors and Associate Professors, she reaffirmed a strong sense of responsibility associated with the conferred titles, viewing them as a driving force for continuous self-improvement, upholding professional ethics, maintaining rigorous scientific integrity, and nurturing a commitment to serving the community. “The titles of Professor and Associate Professor are not only recognition of persistent efforts in teaching and scientific research, but also a great responsibility that demands academic rigor and a spirit of dedication to the community,” Prof. Vân shared.
